    God if real would want people to be athiests, that’s why he left no evidence and so many sketchy parts and contradictions and immoral parts in his books.

  2. rollinmg says:

    That’s very brave of them, better than fanatical bombers. They actually liten to him. :D and smile, because is funny. The bible is a silly book.

    The Swiss have some good chocolate, but the Swedes (sorry, guys) have pretty crappy chocolate. I myself prefer Belgian chocolate (Belgium is where I’m originally from).

    lol! Swiss/Swede….same thing. You all look alike with your blonde hair, blue eyes, and tall stature.

    You Swedoswissians make excellent chocolate though.

    “…could take a few lessons from us yanks.” + “What a bunch of wusses!” What happened to not judging other Christians by what you “would or wouldn’t do”? You’re being terribly inconsistent. For Christmas, I would recommend you ask for an atlas, so you can find out where Switzerland and Sweden are on the map.

    To bad they are not swiss, they are SWEDES! And come on! have a sence of humour..

  7. irendelle says:

    Good Point. If its really the truth, then it cannot be questioned because it is unquestionable.

    It looks like the Swiss could take a few lessons from us yanks. If they conmtinue down this “liberal,accepting path”, they won’t have a church any more.

    When you let barbarians into the gates of the city, is it a suprise if your city gets conquered? “Oh, we’re not like those Bible thumping Americans! We accept those who wish to destroy us. Come into our church. Insult our God in our own house!”

    What a bunch of wusses!

    Cowardice is not part of my vocabulary. True christians fear no man, physically or intellectually. That is the Jesus way. Y’all don’t know nothing about that.

    I realize that some of you are in denial and refuse to acknowledge God. I say “whatever”. I have my own problems. I’m not worried about what atheists do.

    But when you come into a house of worship and blaspheme our God? Hell no! Not in our house. There are other forums for debate. Not in a church!

  10. alphacause says:

    Velayasha, you ascribe the unwillingness of Christian Churches in the U.S. to allow atheists to come, and talk about their beliefs, in a comedic way, as part of the common sense Christians have in America.
    I don’t ascribe it to common sense. What I attribute this reluctance to is plain intellectual cowardice. If you guys truly have the TRUTH on your side, you shouldn’t be scared to hear a counterpoint, even if it is delivered in a rude manner.

  11. wimvandenberghe says:

    @Velayasha
    Then on what basis are you judging them? They’re part of a broader liberal Swedish culture that is generally self-critical and likes to take the piss out of itself.
    Why would I ‘despise’ them when their interpretation of Christianity makes them into the most liberal and progressive Christians in the world (more like Unitarian Universalists in the US). For example, the Church of Sweden has just said yes to performing same-sex church weddings.

  12. Velayasha says:

    wimvan

    You got me all wrong. I do not judge one’s christianity by what I would or wouldn’t do. There are christians of all races, and cultures. There is no possible way we could all worship the same.

    [Actually, what you said is the same problem I have with some christians. Your accusation does fit some of us, unfortunately]

    I never said these people weren’t christians. I simply think afraid to be “too christian” lest guys like you despise them. They want your approval.

  13. wimvandenberghe says:

    @Velayasha
    Ah, the no-true-scotsman fallacy. These Christians are doing something I wouldn’t do, so they’re doing it wrong and are therefore not *real* Christians.

  14. Velayasha says:

    wimvan

    If this atheist had the pastor’s approval, then he is most likely a sell out. True believers don’t let wolves roam among the flock.

    That whole church must be nuts. Or weak, self hating christians.

  15. wimvandenberghe says:

    @Velayasha
    “Who goes into someone’s church to ridicule someone’s faith anyways?”
    Someone with the minister and the congregation’s approval.

  16. Velayasha says:

    alpha

    You’re right. An atheist comedian coming into a church to ridicule the Bible would never happen in the USA. Do you know why? Because we have common sense.

    We would rightfully view that person as rude and he would be politelly be asked to leave. If he refuses, we would just have to throw him out on his atheist ass.

    Who goes into someone’s church to ridicule someone’s faith anyways? Only an asshole would do that.

  17. alphacause says:

    I can say, almost without exception, that something like this – where an avowed atheist comedian comes to a church to ridicule the Bible – would never happen in a hyper religious country like America. The fact that the minister of the church is so laid back about the affair demonstrates how secular and open minded Europeans are. I think that is great.

  18. eilzomalzo says:

    awesome

  19. krnr says:

    i havent pointed out any specific religion im pulling all of em over the edge cause they are all the same. just a shame that people are to dumb to know.

  20. robertfusion says:

    2Ti 3:13 But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

    Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

    2Pe 3:3 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers shall come with mockery, walking after their own lusts,

    2Pe 3:7 but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men

  21. lordtalon69 says:

    I found this to be refreshing and funny. I am taken aback by the fact that the church allowed him to do this act in there “hallowed” halls.

    I shall watch part 2 now with much anticipation.

    fav’d.

  22. pope6789 says:

    @BeckhamRacing
    actually I just posted that comment purely out of curiosity if you would reply of not. To be honest I didn’t think you would.

  23. BeckhamRacing says:

    Pope – need a tissue?

    After all this, your response is to jab me one last time? When there’s nothing left to say, make sure you insult anyone who posts an opposing viewpoint against you. Nice job representin the typical atheist stereotype slick.

    You’ve demonstrated that you’re more interested in debating YouTubers than investing time into seeking the truth anyway. Right, Wrong, or indifferent, we judge by what we read and your character is pretty transparent. So, good luck w/that

  24. Zucadragon says:

    No more response? Shame

  25. Magicalshroomss says:

    haha that’s very mature of you xD anyway, i’m not close minded, so that makes it not all
